WELCOME TO ASIS INTERNATIONAL CHAPTER 254, PALM BEACHES, FLORIDA

ASIS International (ASIS) is the largest organization for Security Professionals, with more than 35,000 members worldwide.  Founded in 1955, ASIS is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of Security Professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests, such as the ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits, as well as specific security topics. ASIS also advocates the role and value of the security management profession to business, the media, governmental entities, and the public.  By providing members and the security community with access to a full range of programs and services, and by publishing the industry's number one magazine -Security Management- ASIS leads the way for advanced and improved security performance.

ASIS International Chapter 254 of the Palm Beaches, Florida was organized in 2006, and is one several hundred Chapters worldwide.  Our Chapter represents over 200 Members from Palm Beach, Martin, St Lucie, Indian River, and Glades Counties.  We are Law Enforcement professionals (Local, State, and Federal) and Security professionals; including corporate, hospitality, and education professionals, investigative services, and industry product representatives.  Our geographical area contains more population than seven states, is home to a major port, airport, nuclear power plant, one of the largest school systems in the nation, and dozens of Law Enforcement agencies.  We also witnessed the Nation's first known anthrax death and many of the 911 murderers moving among us before the fateful day that changed our Nation’s history forever.  Join us as we advance the Security Profession and explore opportunities that positively impact our community.  Please see our "ANNOUNCEMENTS" page for information related to Chapter 254 events and visit our "LINKS" page for more information about and links to our Chapter Members.

Our Chapter meets the second Tuesday every month (except May) at the Windsor Gardens Hotel, 100 yards east of PGA Boulevard on US Highway 1.  "Meet and Greet" is from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, and our Dinner Program and Meeting is from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.  Members, Guests, and prospective Members are always welcome.  Our May 2009 Meeting will be incorporated into our second annual Law Enforcement Awards Luncheon, Thursday May 21st, 2009, 11:30 AM at The PGA Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens.
